"After a drunken night out in Antwerp we decided to convert our horse trailer into a mobile bar. We called it The Drunken Horse Bar. We decided to produce our own gin for the bar: The Drunken Horse Gin. We went to London and learned the basics of distilling a London Dry Gin. We were so excited about the process that once we got home we went looking for a kettle. We were lucky enough to find a Dutch engineer who had produced a 1st century still that gives our gin a super smooth finish. Then came a second stroke of luck when we found the Timut pepper in the Nepalese Himalayas. We added this pepper to our distillation and created a gin with three flavour waves:
1) Lemon from the fresh peels of grapefruit, lime and lemongrass
2) Earthy of the cardamom
3) Spicy from the Timut pepper.
Because the rare Timut pepper has lemony notes, the third wave takes you back to the first, lemony, wave. We gave our gin to our bar customers. They were amazed and told us to enter competitions. Now we are the proud owners of a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirit awards (and many more). Go into the unknown and discover The Drunken Horse Gin for yourself!"
