To care for your beard, first wash it a few times a week with a beard shampoo or beard soap . A beard shampoo is not the same as a regular shampoo. A regular shampoo will dry out the hair and skin, making the beard feel stiff and irritating the skin. A beard shampoo will not dry out the beard hair and skin, but will hydrate it, in addition to removing dirt.
