Privacy Policy
You can visit our webshop without having to provide personal data. Only if you send us an e-mail via the webshop or place an order on our webshop, you leave your personal data with us. Otherwise it is of course difficult for us to answer your question or to deliver your order. In this privacy statement we explain what we do with your personal data. Construlux undertakes to ensure the protection of personal data against destruction, loss, modification, access or misuse to the best of its ability through technical security regulations and an adequate security policy. Only Christophe De Gauquier and Linda Baute have access to your personal data. Our employees do not have access to your personal data that you provide to us via our webshop.
The user has a legal right to inspect and possibly correct his personal data. Provided proof of identity (copy of identity card) you can obtain the written notification of your personal data free of charge via a written, dated and signed request to Construlux bvba, Zandstraat 105, 3580 Beringen, Construlux1@skynet.be . If necessary, you can also request to delete or correct the data that is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant. We will provide you with an answer within 14 days. If you do not receive the expected answer to your request, you can file a complaint with the privacy commission via www.privacycommissie.be .
During your visit to the webshop, we only receive your personal data if you send us an email or if you place an order.
If you send us an email via “Contact” on the webshop, we will receive your name and email address. Only Christophe De Gauquier and Linda Baute have access to this email. Our employees do not have access to this email. We will answer your email, but we will not do anything else with your email address or any other personal data that you have provided to us via email. Your data will not be included in a customer file. After we have answered your email, it will be deleted immediately. We do not use your data to sell or pass it on to third parties.
If you place an order with us via the webshop, we will use your data to execute the concluded agreement, so to deliver your order and to make the invoice. For this we need your name and address. We also ask for your e-mail address so that we can send you a confirmation e-mail of your order and your payment. We will also send you an e-mail when your package has been delivered for shipment. We use your telephone number in case we need to be able to reach you due to ambiguities regarding your order.
You can create an account so that you do not have to re-enter your details each time. In your account we store the following information: your name, address(es), telephone number, e-mail address, delivery and payment details. We also store details of your previous orders so that you can easily find them. The customer is responsible for keeping his login details confidential and using his password. Your password is stored encrypted. Construlux therefore does not have access to your password. You can always change your details yourself in your account.
Our webshop is developed with software from Shopify. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. After you have placed and paid for your order, we will receive an email from Shopify with your name, payment date, amount and an internal order number. After receiving this email, we will prepare and ship your order.
We use the email address to inform the Customer of promotions and campaigns. These emails always contain an unsubscribe link so that the Customer no longer receives these emails. We do not use the Customer's data to show him different prices than other customers. All our customers see the same price for the same product. We do not use the data to resell to third parties. We also do not pass on the data to third parties, unless to be able to process the order.
To deliver your order, we use the services of BPost and DPD. To create the shipping label, we have an account on www.bpost.be and on www.DPD.com in which we store your name and address in an address file. This way, we do not have to re-enter your details every time. BPost and DPD may only use the personal details provided for the execution of their specific assignment and may not use them for other purposes.
In order to meet our accounting and tax obligations, the invoice containing your details will also be passed on to our accountant Stuyts Accounting Services, Koningin Astridlaan 2/A, 8200 Brugge.
We do not use your data to track when and how long you visited the webshop and which pages you visited. We do not use your data for analytical purposes; not for automatic decision-making; nor to show you advertisements. We use the Customer's email address to inform him of promotions and offers.
The categories of personal data concerned will be retained for a maximum of 14 days following your request to delete your personal data.
We further refer to our Terms of Sale, which can be found in the footer of our webshop.
Cookie Policy
During a visit to the site, 'cookies' can be placed on the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a text file that is placed by the server of a website in the browser of your computer or on your mobile device when you consult a website. Cookies cannot be used to identify people, a cookie can only identify a machine. 'First party cookies' are technical cookies that are used by the visited site itself and that are intended to make the site function optimally.
